Time – 45 days
I lived in Vietnam for almost my hole childhood, during 9 years I lived, discovered and only knew Vietnam as my home country. I later on went to France which became my second home country.
I came back a few times during my adulthood, but it had now been 4 years since I haven’t come back. I finished my studies, I went on my world trip and what better way to start it with my childhood and second home city, Hô Chi Minh City !
I worked for my dad and his new startup for my whole free stay without visa. It was a new way to live and perceive everything that I knew about this country. Having different cultural work colleagues, challenging my knowledge with the needs of a totally different type of customer.
I had a lot of fun, a lot of food, a lot of coffee and luckily made new friends ! We had a trip to Ha Noi which was fantastic because it finally gave me time to be alone and actually enjoy a bit of vacation. I really loved it for the little habits I made for myself but mostly for it’s great inspirations for a new project I want to create.
After spending Christmas, it was finally time to go and even though I love my country, I couldn’t be more excited !
